WHAT MAKES HER AN AWESOME TUTOR

I think it is so important to help instil confidence in students! Personally, I have found that while studying is important, truly believing in myself and my ability to solve a problem makes all the difference. I am so enthusiastic about science and learning because of professors and lab members who built up my confidence. I want students to feel that their questions are valid, it's okay to be wrong, and I fully support them!

FUN FACTS

Life Goal: Really just to be happy, hopefully a job that makes me feel like I am helping others, and a couple dogs wouldn't hurt :)

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: A deep breath. From someone who used to get nervous at the sight of a math problem, I find a calm mindset can be the best strategy.

When you're not crunching numbers: Cooking for sure! My favourite part of the day is combing through TikTok looking for a recipe to make for dinner.

NERD ALERT! 

I LOVE Jeopardy! I used to watch with my grandparents when I was little and I still love it. I'm lucky if I know a couple answers each episode but it's still fun to play along!
