WHAT MAKES HIM AN AWESOME TUTOR
As a tutor, I believe it is just as important to learn how to study mathematics as it is to understand its concepts and theories. That is why I make a conscious effort to develop student’s ability to independently learn and problem-solve. In addition to sharing my passion for math and its real-world applications, I like to keep a fun & light-hearted mood during every session!
FUN FACTS
Life Goal: To jump out of a plane (skydive) and obtain my Ph.D. in Mathematics. Hopefully, one doesn’t preclude the other.

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: Time and patience! It is always difficult to gauge how much time you need to understand and master a new concept when studying math. That is why giving yourself ample time and being patient with the learning process is the most powerful weapon.

Education: I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Mathematical Modelling and Methods at Ryerson University with research in financial mathematics and climate change.
Fave Tech device: My MacBook!
Fave Book: Tough to choose just one, but some books I really enjoyed reading were A Promised Land by Barak Obama, The Deficit Myth by Stephanie Kelton, Stress Test by Timothy F. Geithner, and Alex Ferguson: My Autobiography.
Fave Song: I’ll do favourite artists instead since picking just one song is way too hard! I am a big fan of Skepta, B Young, Dave, AJ Tracey, Jorja Smith and Undercover Dream Lovers, to name a few.
Fave Outfit: T-shirt, jeans, and white converse.
Fave TV Show: The West Wing, The Office, Community, Parks and Recreation and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Fave Movie: Margin Call, The Big Short, Social Network, the Jason Bourne series, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
When you're not crunching numbers: Spending time with family, friends and my two dogs – Igor and Lav. I also love playing tennis, watching sports (tennis, soccer, and basketball), movies, stand-up comedy, working out, reading, and travelling as often as possible.
What's the best thing about you? I am always looking to share a laugh and have a good time.
