WHAT MAKES HIM AN AWESOME TUTOR
I love to see my students succeed! It gives me so much personal satisfaction knowing that I’m helping my students reach their goals of getting into competitive university programs. My teaching philosophy is that intelligence is not something that people are born with; intelligence is something that can be developed. Mastering math and science is cultivated through effective effort, proper strategies, and help from the experts. I encourage my students to persist in the face of setbacks by helping them see their “mistakes” and “failures” as opportunities for growth and gaining a deeper understanding of the subject material.

NERD ALERT!
I have an obsession with protein interactions — it’s what I’m working on for my PhD project! Proteins are the building blocks of the cell, so to me, analyzing protein interactions is like trying to solve a complex jigsaw puzzle, but in a biological context. Additionally, when proteins interact, they can undergo conformational changes that subsequently affect their structure and function. Am I the only one who thinks that’s really cool?!?! Omg, and don’t even get me started on protein folding mechanisms!
