WHAT MAKES HER AWESOME AT HER JOB

I believe that understanding is the path to success. Understanding how a business “moves” financially is key to decision making, goal setting and seeing if what you are doing is really working. It is also  a great feeling to be able to show that someone’s dream is coming true.

FUN FACTS

Life Goal: To have my kids gracefully fly from the nest rather than being dumped out or stay forever.

Words to Live By: Everyone makes mistakes. It is what you do after that is important.

Favourite Mathematical Weapon: Double underlines. Game over.

Education: I am always learning. I take classes constantly and am ready to take on another tax class (nothing says a fun Friday night than being curled up in front of the fire with a tax textbook and a glass of wine).

Fave Tech device:  My phone. Google is way more accessible than an Encyclopedia set.

Fave Song: The Scientist originally done by Coldplay, BUT my favourite version might be by...wait for it… Willie Nelson. Yup. Mayyyybe Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. Ghost was a big deal when I was younger.

Fave Outfit: I wanted to throw a curve ball and say Cher’s Bob Mackie Dress from the 1986 Academy Awards. It seemed to fit with Ghost. BUT, it’s not really. I’m a bit of a loss what is so Cher keeps centre stage (where she rightfully belongs).

Fave TV Show: Guys, really, M*A*S*H

Fave Movie: American History X. It’s terrible to say it’s a “fav” given the content but I cry every time I watch that movie.

When you're not crunching numbers: I’m watching a basketball game or a swimming lesson.

What's the best thing about you? I care. A lot.
